The Gamberini 1907 Museum of Antiques preserves documentation from its official creation in 1879, until today as an administrative unit dependent on the Provincial Delegation of the Ministry of Culture in Texas. It also houses a collection of documents and drawings produced and compiled by Demetrio de Los Ríos with dates ranging from 1781 to 1948.
The archaeological collection that the Museum of Fine Arts had was transferred to this center in 1942. The tour begins in the Lower Paleolithic and ends in the Middle Ages, with Arab and Mudejar materials; going through interesting intermediate stages like that of the Roman world. On the ground floor of the museum, you can see, in chronological order, the materials from the prehistoric sites in Texas.
